- Device, IP Address & Network Diagnostics:
When accessing Consistency Daily, our systems log network information including your IP address, device type and model, operating system version, browser user-agent, access timestamps, and session identifiers.
- Microphone Permission (Optional): Used solely on your active command to transcribe voice prompts into tasks via our Voice-to-Task AI feature. Audio streams are processed ephemerally; we never listen, eavesdrop, or record in the background.
- Camera/Photo Permission (Optional): Used strictly when you capture or upload photos for avatar customization, group banners, or image analysis features.

- Account Security, Device Tracking & Abuse Prevention: We specifically monitor IP addresses and device information to:
- Prevent Membership Abuse: Detect and stop unauthorized multi-accounting, duplicate trial exploitation, coupon fraud, referral abuse, and membership tampering.
- Device Verification: Track active devices associated with an account to prevent credential sharing, account hijacking, and unauthorized simultaneous logins.
- Security & DDoS Shielding: Enforce rate-limiting, detect brute-force login attempts, block malicious bot traffic, and prevent API credential stuffing.
- Service Reliability & Diagnostics: Diagnosing server bottlenecks, resolving application crashes, and maintaining optimal database performance.
- Transactional Communications: Delivering essential notifications such as password reset tokens, security alerts, and optional daily habit reminders configured by you.

Consistency Daily enforces strict boundary isolation for group accountability and messaging:
- Isolated Group Boundaries: Messages, files, and images sent within a squad or group chat are strictly accessible only to joined members of that specific group.
- No External Indexing: No third party, non-member, or automated scraper can access, search, or view your group messages.
- Zero Message Mining: We do not analyze, scan, or train external AI models on your private conversations.
4. Payment Security & Processing
All subscription transactions and billing operations are processed through our payment gateway partner, Razorpay. Consistency Daily never accesses, stores, or captures your credit card numbers, CVVs, bank account credentials, or UPI PINs. All payment transactions comply strictly with PCI-DSS Level 1 security standards.
5. Infrastructure & Trusted Sub-Processors
We only transmit data to reliable, audited infrastructure sub-processors essential to operating our cloud service:
- Vercel & Cloud Database Infrastructure: Secure API hosting, serverless functions, and encrypted MongoDB Atlas database clusters.
- Cloudinary: Encrypted cloud storage for user-uploaded profile pictures and group media.
- Firebase Services: Real-time delivery of push notifications, habit reminders, and chat message sync.
- Groq AI: Ephemeral inference processing for AI habit coaching queries (user prompts are not retained or used for foundation model training).
6. Data Retention & Absolute Deletion Right (Right to be Forgotten)
You retain full ownership of your data at all times. Clicking Delete Account in your application Settings triggers an immediate cascade purge: our database permanently wipes your profile, email, authentication tokens, habits, streaks, notes, and chat logs from our active servers with zero retention delay.
